Rook Belt Clip Holster with Magnetic Closure Review

If you want a belt clip holster and want it in real leather then you will have a hard time finding one as nice as this one. I have had Blackbrook products for many years now and they have been my favorite and I say this because I have tried many of them over a couple of decades. The flap goes over the entire holster which is nice, it has a notch in the bottom to make it easier to get the phone out. The sides have elastic so the phone isn’t too tight in the case. The only negative I can give it, and I don’t know what the solution would be, but the leather that covers the metal belt clip will eventually wear through leaving only the metal part of the clip to attach to your belt and some of the leather will bunch up in the clip so it gets hard to put it on your belt and will fall off your belt easily when this happens. It takes me about a year for this to happen, then I get another case. Maybe its planned obsolescence. Other than that the case is really nice.

Outstanding smartphone belt clip holster!

This holster is superlative. An elegant, thin, strong design that goes well with business attire or dressed down. I use it with my iPhone 13 Pro, with the Apple MagSafe clear case and it fits perfectly. I changed to Blackbrook after having owned 2 similar holsters from a competitor located in SoCal.. The loser’s case has a very weak belt clip that actually will permanently bends open if you squat to tie your shoes! (And I’m slim, BTW). After 24 months or so, the loser’s case leather rips away from the belt clip area and at the ends. Blackbrook’s clip is so strong you can clip the holster to your jeans pocket and it will stay there, even if you run. I’m definitely going to recommend Blackbrook to my friends and look forward to purchasing other products.
