I really like the leather and that's the biggest point. I do feel like the cutouts are a little small and hard to access buttons. I prefer pop out buttons and a case that covers the button and bottom area. But that said this is designed as a minimalist phone cover. For those who don't like a case to be intrusive this is a great choice. If your used to a full cover protective case you may want to choose the other offerings. I doesn't sit very low in the case and is very tight to put in. I have the iphone 15. I would prefer the case ridges come up anothwe 1mm or so to feel like it protects the glass more. But as I said it's minimalist and leather so those areas are the focus. I wanted the veg tan but wasn't available for my 15 so I got the green at a discount. Overall I'm happy, if they had a full wrapped leather that covered buttons instead of cutouts I would have chosen that. Customer service was very responsive in my questions via email which was great.

The Dax is good quality, however, it is a case for the true minimalist. The phone feels good in your hand, which is important to me, but offers little protection against drops, if you are looking for phone protection, this is not for you.

Great quality but wish I would’ve went with the full-sides coverage model. Awkward to hold this one and maybe more vulnerable to drop damage. Blue looks great with the orange iPhone
This is my 3rd case exactly like this one, I Love it, leather looks great, feels good, really protects my phone, I have dropped it plenty of times, the camera lenses has never cracked or been scratched, I do use individual lenses covers) the front screen has never cracked the corners on the back of the case take the hit. It is strong, Very Well made.

The leather quality is exceptional on this case. Sadly I had to return it but the support team was incredible. They worked with me to resolve the issue. In a world of AI, it’s wonderful to see a company of “live” humans that care about their customers. I highly recommend BlackBrook.
I like the design, feel and sturdiness. I’m still on the fence about the kickstand ring in regards to its durability. My biggest concern is the threads are starting to come loose. I applied seam sealer around the treading to prevent unraveling.
